The POÄNG Desk attaches to an IKEA® POÄNG chair (sold separately*) and creates a workstation more comfortable than a traditional desk at a fraction of the price!

Standard - 28 3/4" x 11.5" (73cm x 29.2cm)
Workstation option adds the laptop riser brackets to the standard option
Leg Clearance Dimensions:
Top of seat to underside of desktop - Approx. 7" (Desk has tilt adjustment to add more knee room if needed)
Height Adjust Kit option adds 3/4" with an added spacer. (Requires a #2 Robertson bit for assembly)
Desk fits the IKEA® POÄNG Rocking Chair as well.

The Poang desk is excellent! It is comfortable, sturdy and beautifully built. Just get one - you won’t regret it! I had some problems and had to contact customer service and they were really helpful and went well beyond my expectations to help me out and resolve the issue.

Easy setup. Fits perfectly. Works great, very sturdy. Using it as an ergonomic mini-painting setup. One suggestion for product- being able to decide whether I want to set it up to swing out left or right would be nice.

Just like the pictures! Good quality, easy to assemble and fits the Poang chair perfectly. This is the first desk set up that I've tried that I have actually used. I can sit comfortably for hours. Highly recommend!
I have had the desk and laptop stand for only a few days and I have started doing all my work from it. I did get the extra riser. For reference I am 6’4” and 275lb and it fits perfectly.

I like it! Very handy. I use it without height adjustment kit, though I got one just in case. Assembly is pretty easy. Quality of materials is amazing!

Installation was very easy. I'm using this desk even more than I thought I would because it's so comfortable.
This is exactly what I was looking for to make my WFH life that much easier. The ability to adjust the angle of the "desk" ensured I had the perfect angle for typing and using my trackpad. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!! To go even further, I mistakenly chose the wrong color at checkout, so I reached out, and they resolved the issue within moments. That level of customer service is rare today, so it really stood out to me as a company that truly values its customers! Do not wait, if you have the POÄNG chair and need a WFH spot. This is the way to go!
Had some issues with the international transport, the support team were a great help, the table were easy to assemble and looks great. I haven't used it alot yet, but look forward to begin.
A wonderful desk for my fiancées favorite chair!
Solid product, works really well, it would be nice if it had a way to lock on the left side to keep the desk from sliding when rocking a little, but it's a small issue!
I can now comfortably use my laptop or sit and write while in my Poäng. Would recommend to friends.

This is a fantastic and well designed addition for any Poang chair. I used to use spare Ikea shelves or boards balanced across the arms of my Poang for work, so this is a huge upgrade, and a lot safer for my devices. I purchased mine with the computer loft arms, which are pretty effective and easy to take off and put on. I did not buy the extra leg clearance kit, but I have plenty of room. The size is pretty good, but if at some point they offer a slightly wider and/or deeper desktop surface, I'd seriously consider it. The customer service was very helpful and prompt.

This workstation really works for me. I can be in my favourite place in the sunroom writing while at the same time keeping the minimalist feel of the room. This is the third iteration of the poang desk I have bought from Bateman Labs and they just keep getting better and better with the design and craftsmanship!
Enjoying this custom desk! Fits well, easy to install, easy to use. My only complaints would be about the longevity - screws going into wood. The hardware on the desk needs to be retightened after a couple of weeks for me. If the mounting points for the desk slid over top of the chair arms as opposed to slide over the chair arm from the side, that might be a way to negate the hardware backing off as someone enters/exits the chair. It would make it easier to put on and take off as well. A wrist pad of some sort is a good idea to pair with this, prolonged use makes you realize how erogonomic wood is. All in all a great custom keyboard mount, would definitely buy another one!

This desk is exactly what I was looking for! I need to keep my feet elevated as much as possible due to long-Covid and this is a cost-effective way of doing so while working. And yes, having it shipped to the UK from Canada was still cost-effective! Shipping went really smoothly. I contacted Andrew to make sure it wouldn't arrive when I was away, which was helpful. And then watching the FedEx tracking as it made its way here via Memphis, Tennessee was fascinating (and had me singing Paul Simon's "Graceland" for days!).
Very solid construction and a lot of adjustability. I appreciate how easy it is to assemble and remove/adjust, and it has just enough space to make typing comfortable while not being too bulky.
